Our Directorate performs all kinds of transactions and operations related to municipal revenues stipulated in the Municipal Law No. 5393, the Public Finance Management and Control Law No. 5018, the Law No. 2464 on Municipal Revenues, Tax Procedure Law No. 213, the Real Estate Tax Law No. 1319, the Law No. 6183 on the Procedure for the Collection of Public Receivables, the Law No. 5216 for Metropolitan Municipalities, the Budget Law, Regulation on Expenditure Documents of Local Administrations, Local Administrations Budget and Accounting Regulations and other related laws and regulations. These tasks mainly consist of the following:
•   To accrue and collect income and receivables in accordance with the relevant legislation; to take the unduly collected or overcharged income into custody in order to return it to the relevant persons,
•    To keep records of transactions and other financial operations listed in the above paragraph in a proper, transparent and accessible manner; to edit financial reports and statements independently from any intervention,
•    To carry out the control of tellers within the periods stipulated in the relevant legislation,
•    To prepare the budget, make budget estimates for the following two years, and keep budget records,
•    To put effort for income generation,
•    To keep records of movable and immovable property owned or used by the administration,
•    To prepare annual reports,
•    To carry out all kinds of work and operations related to the budgetary functioning,
•   To conduct studies and submit them to the city council in order to determine the fees to be charged for services provided at enterprises or goods to be sold on a regional basis and according to the conditions of the day,
•    To ensure and supervise the implementation of tariffs issued by the council,
•    To carry out all kinds of works for the pool business,
•    To carry out all kinds of works for the hobby gardens,
•    To carry out all kinds of works for the municipal parking lot,
•    To prepare condensed statements of movable or immovable properties owned or used by the Budgetary Unit,
•    To perform the tasks assigned by other legislations.
