Our Academy started its journey in December 2015 under the name of "Art Academy" as a unit offering artistic, cultural and educational activities within the scope of cultural affairs of Arnavutköy Municipality throughout the district. Until May 2018, the academy provided numerous educational activities and preparatory courses to fine arts faculties and conservatories in many art branches, and since September 2018, it has been offering arts activities under Arnavutköy Municipality Cultural Center.
Our Achievements:
The "Art Academy" prioritizes quality and academic approach in its educational activities, and has been raising students in many branches for universities and fine arts high schools (The academy has helped students achieve success in talent tests and be placed primarily in Marmara University and Eskişehir Anadolu University's Fine Arts and Conservatory Departments). Our Academy has successfully realized activities such as painting exhibitions, concerts and shows that residents of Arnavutköy and students benefitted from in the Arnavutköy district.
The Academy won the third place in the Istanbul provincial folk dance competition of the Turkish Folk Dance Federation (2016). In addition, it represented Arnavutköy by winning the fourth place in the Istanbul provincial folk dance competition of the Turkish Folk Dance Federation (2017). Also, our Academy staged the theater plays called Mevlana, Mehmet Akif Ersoy, Çanakkale, prepared by drama teachers and students. Art Academy Graduation Ceremonies have become a tradition with special painting, photograph, marbling art, wood burning exhibitions and piano recitals, concerts of students receiving voice training, violin recitals and performances of musical groups as well as sketches of theater and drama teams hosting national press members in addition to other guests in a public event. At the end of this event, we present graduation certificates approved by the Ministry of National Education to our students attending to many of our courses.

The "Art Academy" is aware of its mission in Arnavutköy district, which has vast potentials with its young population. It aims to provide education to young people with a focus on being active, efficient, progressive and understanding both the current and future ages, existing culture and social fabric. In doing so, the Academy also aims to encourage young people to dream, gain discipline, branch out, understand art and use it as a universal language and pass it on to future generations with an academic approach adopted by art schools and art teachers who are enthusiastically producing personal art works. Our biggest goal at "ARNAVUTKÖY ART ACADEMY" is to be a source of pride in our country and in the world thanks to the qualified education achieved by the young generations who will build the future of the sociologically and economically developing and growing Arnavutköy district.
