Documents that a foreign national woman or man must bring in the application for marriage.
1- A MARRIAGE LICENSE CERTIFICATE (Certificate of Marriage/Certificate of Celibacy) to be obtained from the competent authorities in their own countries or the consulates of their countries in Turkey will be brought. If the Marriage License Document; If any of the parents' names, place and date of birth are not included, it will also be brought in the BIRTH CERTIFICATE .

• If the documents are obtained from the Consulate of their country in Turkey; After it has been approved by the District Governor's Registry, its notarized Turkish translation will be made. If it is taken from the Embassy of their country in Ankara, they must be approved by our Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
• If the documents are brought from their own country; After it is approved by the Turkish Embassy in that country, its notarized Turkish translation will be made in Turkey.
• If the documents have been received as Apostille (International Stamp); It is sufficient only to have a notarized Turkish translation in Turkey.
• If the documents are issued in multiple languages ​​including Turkish; Documents are accepted and processed directly without any process for certification.

2- If there is no passport; COUNTRY ID will be brought.

• Notarized Turkish translation of the passport or Country ID will be made in Turkey.
• If applying with a passport; The visa of the passport must not have expired. (The duration of the visa should cover the date of the wedding.) If the visa has expired, a Visa Renewal or Residence Permit (Residence Permit) must be brought.
• If applying with Country ID; Residence Permit or Travel Document showing the date of entry to Turkey will be brought.

(No Document must be out of date.)

3- Receivables from family physicians in Health Centers; A medical report will be brought for the marriage.

• Reports should be photographed and stamped. As required by the circular, it should cover the information that the inspections have been carried out. (It should also be written in the Man's report that the HPLC screening of the hereditary blood diseases test was performed.)

4- 4 (four) passport photos will be brought. It must have been taken within the last six months.

Matters to be Considered in Marriage with Foreigners

• The documents are valid for 6 (six) months from the date of receipt from the relevant institution.
• The original of the document and its notarized Turkish translation made in Turkey are accepted and processed.
• Documents to be obtained from Honorary Consulates are invalid.
• Tercümesi yapılan Bekârlık Belgesi,Doğum Belgesi,Pasaport ve diğer belgelerin tümünde kişisel bilgilerin (adı,soyadı,doğum yeri,doğum tarihi,anne adı,baba adı)birebir aynı olması gerekmektedir.Tek bir harf veya karakter farklılığında işlem yapılmaz.
• Evlenme Ehliyet Belgesi (Medeni Hal Belgesi/Bekârlık Belgesi)'nde kişinin son medeni hali; Bekâr,Dul veya Boşanmış şeklinde ifade edilmelidir.
• Eğer yabancı uyruklu bayan boşanmış veya dul ise boşanma veya dul kaldığı tarih belgelerde yer almalıdır.
• Yabancı uyruklu kişi Türkçe bilmiyorsa; Başvuruda Evlendirme Memurluğu tarafından hazırlanacak Evlendirme Beyannemesini kendi dilinde noter tasdikli tercümesini yaptıracaklardır. Nikah esnasında ise yeminli tercüman getireceklerdir..
• Vize süresi;müracaat sırasında ve müracaatı takip eden nikah günü rezervasyonunda dolmammış şekilde olmalıdır.
• Applications with incomplete documents will not be accepted.
